Initial Training
As a partner in the Lawnkeeper franchise, you will benefit from our comprehensive training programme. This is designed to not only teach you everything you need to know to become a local lawn care specialist, but also how to run a successful business using our tried and tested business model.
Your training will be led by our Director & Founder, Sam Langrick, who will pass on all the experience and expertise he has gained over nearly 30 years of running a successful lawn care business. This training will take place at Lawnkeeper HQ in Yorkshire and will be a mix of both practice and theory.
Training will include:
An Introduction to Lawnkeeper
An overview of how the company works, its Code of Ethics, general systems and procedures.
How to provide a high-quality lawn care service
How to identify lawn issues and decide on appropriate treatment, carry out our core services, and offer additional services.
Business Operations
Day-to-day management of your business, logistics and supply, time management, staff recruitment, accounting, and how to set and meet your goals.
Marketing
Promoting your business and generating leads, customer referrals, offering extra services, and building customer relationships.
Health & Safety
As well as helping you to stay safe on a day-to-day basis, we will also guide you through how to pass your PA1 & PA6A certification in the safe handling of pesticides, and arrange a test at a centre near you.
